I am going to be running the same Firestone 10:00 X 15 slicks on my T, and have the same concerns about wet roads. It only rains in Florida every day most of the year. They look great on there, but I will probably have a second set of regular tread tires to run most times, and just mount the slicks for cruises and shows. I don't feel like wearing out $ 500. worth of tires in probably very short order.

I used to run 11 inch M & H dragster slicks on my '68 Mustang, and they were VERY squirelly when wet.
