Ok I'm going to go out on a limb here and add a couple comments
When was the last time any of you actually let someone else drive your car especially if YOU were not in it ?????????
Yeah, though so.....It's pretty much the same if you ride a bike, very seldom do you hand over the keys. Know where the registration for my Harley is?. In my billfold along with the insurance card and my license. One stop shopping if I need to show them to that nice police officer.
I guess there are some advantages to living in England (not many i know) but if i get stopped by a dibble who wants to see my documents. I have to produce them at any Police Station within 24hrs, hence i don't carry any of them.
This routine makes for such a laid back pleasant way of living, i just can't imagine worrying about reaching into a glovebox and getting a gun pointing at you.
Don't get me wrong i love the USA but things that can happen out there....wow! very scary!:eek:
It has nothing to do with anyone else driving the car (like that's gonna happen). With both a '32 roadster and a Harley, that would be two 8 1/2 X 11 registration papers folded up in my wallet along with all the other junk in there. As stated up front I didn't consider that a good option. The Harley papers are in a baggy in a saddle bag; the '32s are now up under the seat. Problem solved.Quote:

I have too many cars,trucks and vans,,,,,I also have employees driving some of the vans and trucks,,,,,If I had to sit on that many P.O.I.'s and registrations in my wallet I would be another inch taller in the drivers seat!,,,but only on one side!:D

I guess your right, at one time I had 2 bikes and kept both registrations in my billfold without any problems (but 3 would have been a problem).
As far as being married, that is not a problem, wife (who thank god is very supportive) prefers to do the passenger thing in most of "my" cars. Of course then there are "her" cars (I try to make sure she has at least 2 of her own).
By the way congratulations on the throphy.
Thanks. The car is a driver, but getting a trophy (my first since 1983) on its first outing was a bonus. Having wanted a '32 roadster for some 41 years its just nice to finally be able to "live the dream". And its a 327 4-speed so is very mid-sixties. I picked it up from SoCal 9/05 as a roller and had it going by 8/06 after fixing much of what they did - a long story - and substantial motor/trans problems. This winter will see the body work and upholstery finished I hope.
