If you really wanted to you could likely adapt the brake light switch from a 70's Ford. they actually sits on the peddle. You would need the appropriate pin size on the peddle for the ford mastercylinder push rod to go on, and probably have to cut the rod to legnth, but it shouldn't be too hard.I've NEVER seen a car come from the factory that couldn't be improved.....
