probably kicked a lifter out after the push rod bent, but something caused the pushrod to bend. sounds like you was trying to hard for that mid 5 sat. night. need to check comp. to see if you have bent a valve. most of the time when you wipe a cam lobe it dont brake up a lot of stuff. pull the intake and check. good luck.
