We run gear drives in about 90 percent of the engines we build for our customers in the shop. As a rule we like .010 in our small and big block Chevy engines we build. A gear drive is more of a personal choice but we recommend them to our customers and they love the NOISE! LOL! I have had one in our shop car (AKA my daily driver) for going on 10 years now with absolutely no problems. We run Pete Jacksons cause we get them at cost but there are others that are equally as good. Run one you'll love it! And good luck with your build.......

time for a new forum to visit. when they sold sr.com it went down hill fast. no more forum just a cheap site selling junkie cars. the canadians killed hr.com. mods are real pricks. as with any site...
