yea thats what i was thinking but i didnt even think about lead or unleaded fuel, with the 305 heads, could i just have them ported to gain some power and maybe just re seated without replacing anything?

also the block seems pretty fresh and would still only be a temp engine pretty much, what about just the real basics like oil pump and timing set and a cam made for the block/head combo and a after market manifold and 4 bbl 600cfm
with no emisions and a distributor i have thats got the coil in it,
and i can find some stock type exuast manifolds.

any idea what kinda power id be looking at for this? with a th350 behind it..
