Oh yeah....toss that 280 H bumpstick & pack a 262 HE cam instead, find a 307 crank & use 327 pistons & rods to fit bore (or go to 4030 ) Moly rings- NOT chrome, Cloyes hex-adjust roller chain, cam button, two piece timing chain cover,POINTS dist., Melling oil pump, Torker Intake, Hooker headers, ok - that'll do it......I think - to start.
