full port & polish on the heads, headers, jump up to 390 gears for da rear, go up to a 750 double pumper w/mech. seconds, trade off the 5-speed for a rockcrusher, ladder bars.
Start there and see if it makes a diff. - then we'll get to the good stuff...lol
