I got talking to one of the pro stock drag racers downtown where we all hand out, he told me to back them off till they rattle, then tighten them up till they stop, tighten it a 1/4 turn, let it settle, another 1/4 and let it settle, then tighten it another 1/4 turn and lock it. It is working alot better now, but I think that jay may be right, it is a fuel problem now, 1st through 2nd its no prob, but at the top end of 2nd it starts to break down, it usually gets to about 4500 rpm or so. if you shift into 3rd and go easy, then punch it to kick it down into 2nd, it goes to 5500 rpm no prob, but not for long. The pump I have its rated for 5.5 - 7psi, it should be enough fo a quadrajet, I hope. I wanna get it running better before syracuse, it would be a long tow home, Hey Jay bring a tow strap buddy, we may need it. lol
