Is there anyway I can check this motor for integrity while out of the car. I know for sure that it only has 84k on it and was driven from California to Michigan before it was removed. Would any of you just clean it up and give it a rip, obviously rebuild the Carter. I know it would be a crap shoot, and some would consider it a travesty, but I know it was a good motor when pulled. It has been oiled and turned twice a year since then. I know I should rebuild it, but it is tempting to give it a try without!
