Thats what im talkin about get yer hands dirty every1 seems to wanna go crate nowadays-don't get me wrong now i think they got some awesome motors warrantied and fuel effecient. but it still doesnt match the feeling you get after you top the oil off and fire it up for the break in..........if you do the work your self it wont cost you as near as much as you might think i put the best of evry thing in my big block massive horses for about $5000. you just have to decide what you want it to do and find all the parts to do it just keep in mind the small things like forged pistons or hypo pistons forged are great they just dont expand like hypos do so youll have to bore the block to fit the piston look into a good billet steel cam (aka roller cam) it will let you turn higher rpms but invest in a rev kit to save your valve train. its the little stuff that costs the most.........good luck

It would be nice if this up and down crap would cease.
