have the machine shop check the bore obviosly, if it needs to be bore(it most likely well) have it bored to what it needs. no point in boring more than necessary.For years people seem to think that boring is a big power maker, or they say its bored .030 while telling about it. its really not much of a power maker. If the cylinders are worn, & it needs to be bored, than have it bored. John
