AHHhhhhh... so now the truth comes out!

I don't remember trashing tranny cases.. but lunched a pile of clutches!

I was going to perform the wet test but it seems like from what I'm reading it may not be necessary. My plan now(for the 5 time) is to take heads off and have them gone thru. From there the 3 deuces are gone and I will go to a holly 4 barrel with ? Intake. I'm also going to change the cam to a comp cam(either hydraulic or mechanical) 12-600-4.

WHAT! Get rid of the 3x2s! Come on man, settle down.
The biggest mistake hot rodders make is to confuse tuning problems with engine problems. Spend a little time and learn how the 3x2s work and tune. Make sure you have enough initial timing. Install the new distributor, do a good tune up, blow the carbon out of it and enjoy!
