Here's on on doing a ring & pinion swap on a GM 10 bolt just to give you an idea of what you'd be getting into - How to install or change or replace gears and bearings in a rear end or differential - YouTube If you have a good 4X4 shop in the area, where the Jeep & Off-Road 4WD guys go they change out gears on a regular basis and are a good place to go to ensure proper setup (note I said a "good" 4x4 shop).
