I've been running this msd streetfire hei distributor and streetfire ignition box for about 6 months with no problems on my 383 stroker..then with no warning I was warming it up and it just died like I cut the key off.. I jumped the purple and green wire and the light on the box blinks but no fire through the distributor.. I don't know if it's the coil or the box itself ? I checked all the wiring and everything seems to ne in order. Someone said it could be a ground but I have a ground wire from the battery to the core support AMD from the battery to the engine, and engine to frame. It's getting a constant 12 volts, and I'm running a red top optima battery....
