if your going to make past 500hp look at forged 4032 good but can be brittle under very hi loads and loose piston to wall skirts fail.. best 2618 will take any thing you throw at it. hyper s are ok for mild builds i used them in my street 454/496 builds with no Nos and other engines .... BUT there heavy to get any strength ring land can bust out(not just end gap) there not in the ballpark as 2618 piston forged pistonsLast edited by pat mccarthy; 01-06-2012 at 11:52 AM.
