7 psi for carb is high for non racing applications most carbs are between 4-6 psi. My edelbrock is 4.5 psi max. Although the fuel pressure is set high,....I dont think that would be the cause of your motor dying after 15 seconds.....it would spudder and run rough. Im also thinking fuel pump problem but not sure.
