Get some permatex weatherstrip adhesive and us it to glue the end gaskets to the rear main cap and timing chain cover. Buy the way, the yellow seems to work better than the black (?). Then put the pan up WITH NO GASKET and install the two bolts at each end to hold the end gaskets in place. Twenty minutes (or so) later, take down the pan and put the side gaskets on with gasket cement and install.
That's how I do it and it works.
