    The 416 heads are better than the 185's with smaller chambers you have more compression,since this is in a heavier truck your focus needs to be on torque at low and midrange,so what Edelbrock intake are you using? and have you changed camshafts? If your funds are limited we need to find the "best bang for the buck" that fits the budget.There is an old saying" Horsepower costs money,how fast do you want to go?"

    i bought the edelbrock performer intake. stock cam but i really wanna change it. not looking for a race truck just some more power. dont wanna be like all the other c10s out there

    Wrong intake. Pick up 30-40 hp with a RPM or Weiand Stealth.

    can anyone reccomend a decent cam to gain a few hp. my heads are stock and the casting number gm14014416
