    Hey Dave,he's putting in the 305 into a older truck that doesn't have a in tank fuel pump and not just a carb change on a truck that has the in tank fuel pump.I am thinking depending on the yr of the engine would determine if the engine block has casting for a push rod for a mechanical pump.Not sure about that through.
