When I was a kid, my father once told me, "Son, you'll soon be as smart as I am - maybe smarter. But you'll never be as wise as I am until you have lived as long as I have."
Didn't understand him when he told me that - but I sure do now!
Sigh.. somethings never change.
We have the mistaken notion in this country that somewhere between 55 and 60 people become "obsolete".. Don't know about the rest of you, but my best years are right now and I believe that I can contribute as much if not more than I have ever been able to before! I'm looking forward to "peaking" when I'm 85!
The automotive knowledge base on this site is unsurpassed. The wisdom about life here is deep too. Please reconsider your words, saitek, and listen to those who have lived through where you are and can bring great value to your project (save you time, money and maybe your life) and perhaps impart a bit of wisdom along the way! You might just want to start this thread all over..
Just a thought from an old guy who's built more motors for cars, boats and bikes and what have you that I can even remember..
Good Luck,

I saw last night on fb about John. The world sure lost a great one. I'm going to miss his humor, advice, and perspective from another portion of the world. Rest in Peace Johnboy.
