    More oil problems...

Bowtie block....new Scat crank, rods, 406 stroker. Fired the newly built motor for the first time. Oil poured out of the rear main. Yesterday, the engine builder and I spent most of the day replacing the rear main adapter unit and seal. This is a new Moroso aluminum billet unit...adapts from one piece, to 2 piece seal. We had to drop the crank slightly to replace it. All back together.....even before the engine starts, just while cranking, I am seeing oil spots on the floor....coming directly from the rear main. Is it possible we got a crank that is slightly undersized from Scat? I know anything is ossible, but what other options are there. Thanks for your input.

I'm checking that, right now. I have the trans out, so that is simple enough to check. Thanks.

I've seen one half rear main seal in backward. That sure will make the oil pour out.
