An exercise in futility. You can make more power with a boneyard 350 and it's cheaper. But to answer your question, the usual culprits are the rod bolt at the cam lobe and the big end of the rod at the pan rail. Check for interference also at the pin end of the rod at the underside of the piston crown. If you use Scat capscrew rods, you will not have any bolt/lobe interference.Last edited by techinspector1; 02-15-2009 at 05:43 PM.
