THANKS, Glenn!! I've really learned a LOT from this Fantastic Forum and other internet sources! I think I can rebuild them and you're very right, at this point the cost of the kits isn't a concern (just don't let my wife know I said that

CaptKirk - how 'bout some photos before, during and after plus on your intake!!
These are simple carbs to do with the exception of choosing the right power valve. If you have decent cores, they are virtually fool proof. I've done dozens in my distant (and now hazy) past and only one was a clunker - and that one went to the dump as I only paid a couple bucks for it.Dave W
