I have a Chevy small block in a late 1970's early 1980's Impala. This engine is one that i want to transplant into my 1983 Mercedes- Benz 240d to make my very first Retrorod/ hotrod but... I was told by the former owner that it was a 350 but I ran the vin through car fax and it said it had a 267 4.4L V8. I also have no title for the car. I looked at a rebuilt engine site and it said the 267 has a driver side dipstick and the 350 avalible for the impala had a passanger side dipstick which my engine has. at this point i am confused and need help finding out what it really is. does anyone know what this might be.
