    yes i do not use the rubber i use a bead of rtv on the the china walls and a thin coat on the bottom of the intake then stick it down it use a bit a round the coolant ports you do not want to use the rubber and rtv . RTV is slippery and the will poop out THE RUBBER GASKETS when you draw down the intake
