1987 I had a 69 Camaro 327 gear drive, it also had a 350 with a shift kit, and a 411 gear that was nice too. I bought it from a guy that completely redid the car his future father in-law built the engine, and race his own car at US 30 in Merrillville In. I loved the sound and if I was to get something running in an older car I would want that sound again. I ran the car hard and never had any trouble. I sold it to a guy that ran it hard. Later the original guy got his car back, still going. I guess some hold up, and maybe some don’t.
