If the middies are tuned length then hp change will probably be negligable--maeybe a 5-hp difference, even if they aren't tuned length I doubt there would be much of a difference, unless you need every bit of HP. Sound maybe a bit mellower but going with a different muffler could remedy that"Breathe in... Breathe out... then move on with life. Life's too short to sweat the small stuff"
