Are you certain the cam is the problem???? That's a lot of carb, and the Victor intake works best from 3500 rpm and up to the 7500 range.... If he's running that many Revs on the street I suppose it's fine.....

Yup on what Tech said.... I've been playing with the Comp Cams "Cam Quest" software they have made available.... I've discovered when you add in all the details of the engine and not just the generic "street and strip use" term, the program seems to make some accurate recomendations....or chicken out like me and talk it over with the techs at Comp!!!!!

I always run their reccomendations past Richard......him, Pat, and Erik are the cam guru's around the 'hood!!!!!!!
