    Use the rear end from the 6cyl 1976 Camaro . It's a 8.5 10)bolt being from a 6cyl car it should have the 308 gear . You can pickup a 2800 stall like this budget Converter . And later you can up the gear on that 10 bolt . Or look at your local junk yards or Craigs list for a 1977 to 1980 Z-28 or T/A drum to drum rear end . The Z-28s had 3.42-373 and the T/As had 308-323 most Posi . I have picked them up as low as $200 bucks . COOL
