First pick up a set of assembled World S/R Torquer . Part #042660-1 they are 67cc with 170cc intake runners and have 202in/160ex valves and screw in studs . Next for a Camshaft go with . The Comp Cams XE262H this cam is 218/224 dur with 462/469 lift and a 110 lobe sep . Also run a Cloyes true roller timing chain set . And a Melling Z-28 oil pump#M99HVS with a HD shaft . You will also need a rings and bearings kit with gaskets . Run the .041 head gasket . For the intake go with the Weiand #8004 Dual plane . And for the Carb the Edelbrock Performer 600CFM . Then for a distributor go with the Accel HEI #59107C . This set up will be with in your budget . And be a great street engine with every bit of 350 HP and over 400lbs of Torque . And will work with a 308 to 373 gear . If your looking for more HP . up the Cam to the XE268H . And run a 373 to 411 gear . But for a street car the XE262H will be more friendly . COOL

time for a new forum to visit. when they sold sr.com it went down hill fast. no more forum just a cheap site selling junkie cars. the canadians killed hr.com. mods are real pricks. as with any site...
Where is everybody?
