    I agree that SRP forged pistons are your best buy. I run them in my 383.

    As an FYI, you're going to have a hard time making 500 hp with those Edelbrock heads. You may want to step up to AFR 195's or Race Rites. Remember that the heads and their breathing capacity is where the hp is.
