Eric,I called you sir because of your knowledge and experience, which I admire.Thats not a kiss-up,,,,but I think many of us enjoy the 'somewhat' friendly,tasking/questioning you put out,,,not too offensive and actually keeps this website active and interesting.

Sure it can be done but it would be rather expesive and a stock block would not be my first choice.

those cars are the worst thing to hit the face of the earth period. i dont care what they do or how much power they make. i hand out the time slips and the turbo hondas with 10k int hems till run 17's and 16's. the ones that run 11's have 50 k intot hemand they are buttass ugly and sound like a big fart! im sorry but dont get me going on those piles or trash.

ah, nothing 13:5:1 compression a good solid roller, tunnel ram, and nice allum heads cant fix
maybe i should let my amc urge out and put a built 390 in the nova
i mean i cant be all A** backwards i plane on puttin a main girdle and stud girdles on the motor this time around have even thought about a windage tray

Scooter, stud girdle and windage tray 'may' be a must with that build your doing,,,,just my 2 cents."On a r-e-e-e-e-al,,,,qu-i-i-i-i-i-et night,,,,,,,,(whisper),,,,,,,, you can hear a Ford rust!!!"

Maybe for now you should consider an engine more in line with your income, and leave the trick, small cube, hi rpm stuff for some day when you're rich and famous!!!! A 9.5 to 1 400+ cube small block stroker will last a whole lot more passes, turn more consistent et's and probably cost less to build. Even if the cost were the same, it comes out to fewer $$$$$ per pass with the big inch low rpm engine..... Just simple math Scooter, not a put down or an opinion....
