    I tell ya Dave, this has been a real disturbing situation. I am to the point of being gun-shy of these heads, and now I'm wondering about the rocker studs. According to Speedway the heads are made for use w/o guideplates ( has stock guide holes ). However they are machined for plates. After studying the rocker arm - valve stem contact point, something don't look right. Summit says the screw in studs I have are for use with or without plates. I got to think on this a bit. Have you ever had the feeling of just not trusting something... no confidence in it ? I am about ready to invest in some different heads.

    I'll try to post some close up pics of the rockers.
