    ....I'd say that it depends on what YOU want out of your car AND how much money you want to spend.... If your after performance & are in a financial position to build a motor it doesn't really cost anymore to build a 383 than a 350. And that's 56 more cubes which equals 56 more FT Lb's of Torque....Plus what's the current compression ratio of the 327? In other words will it run on pump gas?.... Also check out some of the current GM crate motors. { www.sdpc2000.com }... You get a lot of value for you money..... I'm sure some of the others will have more input but this is what first comes into my mind when I think about it..... Bill
