Are you asking how to do it or what to buy?
What if the "Hokey Pokey" is what it's really all about?

Camshaft, heads, compression, age of motor. They all play a factor in your selection. Is the engine stock?

The engine is stock. The engine was rebuilt 200 miles ago, but sat for 3 years. Engine has a 2bbl rochester on it. 85000 miles on the engine total. Looking a the build sheet for the motor it was rebuilt to factory specs

Put an Edlebrock Performer on it. Works well with even stock motors.

I have been looking on Edlebrocks website, and they don't have one that will fit on a buick 350 block. they have one for the 283, 400, and 455, but not the 350. I have found these 2 any thoughts

Stage 1. That's your performer copy. I also couldn't find it in my newest catalog. I looked up in an older catologue (1980) and they had a B4-B that was the closest they made for the 350. No longer available also. Would you be adverse to scrounging up a stock 4 BBL?

thanks denny I saw the one that was sandblasted and considered that one, but I am wondering what difference will it make verses an aftermarket one.

You can get a plane old cast intake and Q-Jet carb pretty cheap.I put a 79 Buick 4bbl intake and carb on my 1971 Buick 350 Block.
Also this site is great for Buick stuff.. www.V8buick.com .

I have an edlebrock 650CFM carb to use. Is that too much for a stock 4bbl carb?
