When breaking the engine in ,is it alright to leave the tailshaft out of a 3 speed manual transmission?The concern is that the the transmission could jump in gear and launch the truck,the truck is in tight quarters ,so even a 3 foot leap forward would be catastrophic.
The transmission would be in neutral with the clutch pedal not depressed.
