will do. . . . .I'm just concerned with those torque numbers. . . . engine efficiency seems to come alive at 6k also. . . .would a cam change that? change the torque that is.

Hey Red, I looked over my cam input figures and found a decimal in the wrong place,
Here is the corrected dyno sim, flywheel, not rear wheel,
No more late night input for me.

[/QUO I think you might have done more than put a decimal in the wrong place.
The cam specs. are .427/.454 duration at .050 is 204/216.
There is no way this cam is making 437 hp at 6,000 rpms.
Crane says it has a 1,500-4,500 rpm power band.
I would guess it would make max. hp. around 4,200 rpms and not 6,000 rpms.
He would be darn lucky to get 337 hp out of it let alone 437.
Like I said before if you put crap in for information you will get crap out.

here's what I got. EA 3 is probably the best software, dyno 2000 is ok, it's off +- 50 HP or so, sometimes. dyno 2000 is what I haveYou don't know what you've got til it's gone

, I wish some one had some engine specks and REAL flywheel dyno numbers that it produced so I could compare and know once and for all if it's good/close/junk, you got any from a engine dyno Erik ?

Did not mean to cause an argument. Sounds like my engine is tearing this forum apart!

The basic what will/won't work for most engines have already been figured out, whats left is the fine tweeks IMHO.
For most I'd guess it comes down to $$$, how fast can you afford to go, and where best to spend it.Objects in the mirror are losing

It would be nice if this up and down crap would cease.
