I know the best way to fix a busted starter hole is at the machine shop. Have any of you fixed one yourself? Its the usuall break of about half the thread about 3/4" long on the outside starter bolt hole on the block. The piece that broke off is lone gone. Should it be completly welded up with a cast iron rod, redrilled and tapped?
