    Mike, in your opinion, which electric fan is the best, a puller or a pusher? Just seems like a puller would be, just because would not be blocking the natural air into the radiator.
    On my DeSoto I have stock fan, plus a pusher in front of radiator, and I have heard differnt arguments that they are working against each other.

    Maybe the air isn't getting out of the engine compartment. Try running it without the hood, that'll show you if that's the problem.

    puller when possible. i use the Ford Torus fan and run it on low. no problem.
