    opinions on performance specs

Your engine summary is as follows:
    Bore - 3.770 inches
    Stroke - 3.48 inches
    Rod c-c length - 5.7 inches
With a static compression ratio of 9.83:1.
Your camshaft specifications call for an inlet valve closing of 57 degrees ABDC (after bottom dead center).
Your chamber volume is 72.09 cc's. With this camshaft your dynamic, or effective stroke is 2.88 inches.
Your dynamic compression ratio is 8.31 :1 corrected for cam timing, altitude, and rod length.
Your dynamic cranking pressure, corrected for cam timing, rod length and altitude is 167.00 PSI.
Your dynamic boost compression ratio, reflecting static c.r., cam timing, altitude, and boost of 0 PSI is 8.31 :1.

From these specs ,What would be your thoughts on how this will perform in a weekend cruzer ,at 3500 lbs with a 4.11 rear end and stickshift. This is my engine specs for the truck I am rebuilding. thnx for any feedback. The only info left out that I saw,58 cc heads and 8cc dish piston..010 under mains and milled heads,so the chamber may be 1-2 cc smaller and decked block.Plus I have installed rhodes lifter, which claim to knock off about 10 deg. under 3000 rpm of cam duration, the actual cam is xe262 flat tappet hydralic.

That should be a really sweet cruise motor. Keep the squish tightened up at 0.035" to 0.040".

Thnx, just learning how to calculate this stuff and figure out all the numbers.I went with a proven combo and never did the math and calculations for myself, now that I have,I was just curious as to whether they actually came out to a good combo,Thnx once again.

    I'm impressed!

Sounds like a great combo Probably could pull over 350hp out of a .030 over 305 on pump gas!

What do you plan to breathe it with?

Here is a pic.It has an old streetmaster edelbrock intake,600 cfm eddy, hei and out the rams horns. The ramshorns are just for break in,then some nice ceramic stuff. Thnx,Tech it took a few years of all the good info and links on here to get a good understanding of how and why ,then the formulas I hope it will be about 275- 300 hp .Some one could do a desktop dyno for me!!
