    350 motor

     



    ok im going to build a small street motor that can be drivin on a daily an keep my 305 to show respect to my grandfather.... this is the run down on the 350 that im going to build
    1.gettin it bored .40 over
    2.vortec head (GM)
    3. this is the cam of choice comp told me it would be the right cam for the set up im going for a nice choppy sound but still can drive on the street
    Part Number 12-316-4
    Intake Exhaust
    Valve Adjustment 0 0
    Gross Valve Lift 0.464 0.464
    Duration At 0.006 Tappet Lift 268 268
    Valve Timing At 0.006
    Open Close
    Intake 26 62
    Exhaust 62 26
    These Specs Are For The Cam Installed At 108 Intake CL
    Intake Exhaust
    Duration At 0.05 222 222
    Lobe Lift 0.296 0.0296
    Lobe Separation 108
    intake will be eldebrock 2116
    carb will be the edlebrock 1806 thunder 650 cfm
    let me know what you think about this set up let me know if it good or not

    What is the figure in degrees where the intake closes ABDC @ 0.050"?

    they didnt have it at .50

    Call Comp back and ask them where the intake closes. I can only help you if I have the tools to make the right decision for you.
