I can tell you what my last 383 did.
The heads where 195 cc fully CNC ported AFR's.67 cc combustion chamber.Yes, the heads where to large.They where fitted with 2.08,1.6 valves.
The intake was a Victor with a gasket match and plenum work and a 1 inch spacer.
The carb was a 650 race Demon with more prep work done to it.Flow was a little more than 700 cfm.
The short block had 6 inch rods.
The pistons where JE flat tops with a comp ratio of about 10.7 to 1.
The cam was a Lunati VooDoo solid roller.Specs are .585/600 lift,duration at .050 was 249/255 at .050.on a small base.1.6 rockers where also installed
On the dyno hp was 506 at 6,600, torque was 467.I forget at what rpm.
The lower torque output might be due to the fact that the heads where to large for the engine.
This was done on pump gas 93 octane with 36 degree's total timing.
I did not spend all day on the dyno and I would think there might be some more left in her.
I was some what doubtful with that much compression if it would run on pump gas.
This is really pushing the limits of what you can do on a street engine.
Like I said before you are not that far out.
