Thank You Eric... woops, I guess I forgot to mention that, yes it is a hyd. cam.... I guess I should be happy & I probably shouldn't have run it through Desk Top Dyno. It had it at a little over 500 for TQ. & HP... But then I'm sure I manipulated it to say what I WANTED to see; r/e what really constatutes a 'high flow' dual plane??? compaired to a 'Max' flow one, etc, etc..... The guy that built it said I'd only pick up 15 or so HP with a Hyd. Roller cam {for $900 to a $1000, not cost effective in my opinion}... Mech. Roller is out as I'm not a maintaintance kind a guy.... This motor put out 438 HP & 499 TQ with a different cam {222/232 duration, about the same lift}... Plus the carburator was built to a stage II level, suppose to be built to 'match' my motor. Guess the thought that'd make a bigger difference.... Thanks Again for the imput, Bill
I saw last night on fb about John. The world sure lost a great one. I'm going to miss his humor, advice, and perspective from another portion of the world. Rest in Peace Johnboy.
