the 4spd is more than likely a torque tube, so you would need a torque tube rear for your car just to make it work, secondly, it might hold the power of the engine but, it's a 3spd low trans, 1st is a stump puller gear, 2nd is pretty much what 1st is on a normal trans. you could mate it to the SBC with an adapter tho.You don't know what you've got til it's gone
