    Question 327 piston orientation

    Hi Listers

I need to know the correct orientatation for the pistons in a 68 327/350 engine. Do the valve clearance cuts go on the top ? I think they do , but want to be sure when aseembling this engine. Thanks for your help

there should be a mark, an arrow like or a line, on the piston topand that goes toward the front of the motor.

if no mark, then it may depend on what specific pistons you have...see http://www.beckracing.com/page22.htm - there are choices...
