cam- so much to choose from
Im building a street 350 right now. I plan on getting some Dart Iron Eagle heads with 200cc intake runners. I plan on having about 10:1 for the comp. ratio, Performer RPM, and a holly 750. My truck weighs about 3900lbs id say with the stock converter (will get a new one however). I want my motor to be quite agressive. I was looking at a couple diffrent cams and one i was looking at is the VOODOO cam. Its got 227/233 degrees of duration at 0.050. 489/504 lift. 110 LSA (supposidly 1800-6200) The other cam I was looking at is a crane cam. Part # 110591, grind # H-228/3200-2S-6. This cam has 480/495 degrees of lift with 228/234 degrees of duration at 0.050. Which of these two cams would be my better choice? Does anybody think I should run a "bigger" cam? ALSO, if ANYBODY thinks they know of a better cam for my set-up please feel free to let me know! This is my first build so im kinda foggy. Thanks!when in dout, throttle out
I saw last night on fb about John. The world sure lost a great one. I'm going to miss his humor, advice, and perspective from another portion of the world. Rest in Peace Johnboy.
