I never checked the spark. Now that you mention it, I'm using my stock HEI coil from the 305. I'll replace that (been meaning to anyway) And the valve springs on that motor are said to be "remanufactured." Now I don't know how they'd reman valve springs, but I'll look into replacing them this summer as well.
