....yep, a 327 Block & a 283 crank is 301.75 cu. in.
327 has a; 4.001 bore & 3.25 stroke
283 has a; 3.875 bore & 3.0 stroke
bore x bore x stroke x .7854 x number of cylinders = cu. inches
So, 4.001 x 4.001 = 16.008
16.008 x 3.0 = 48.024
48.024 x .7854 = 37.718
37.718 x 8 = 301.75 cu. in........
