buy the cam for what you are using the vehicle for, not for the sound, getting a cam that dosen't come in until 2,800 RPM dosen't make sense in a non race car, your not building it for high RPM are you. your best bet is to tell the cam company what you will be using the car for, not that you want a noticible idle or anything, tell them your comp ratio and have them send you a cam matched to what you need, they make the cams, they'll know what is best.You don't know what you've got til it's gone
